Avocado Green Mattress Reviews

I got my Avocado mattress delivered last week, so I can only speak to my one experience, but the setup was smooth overall. The box was definitely heavier than I expected, though, and I don’t think I would’ve wanted to get it upstairs without another person helping.
Once we had it in the room, unboxing it was simple enough and it seemed to expand quickly. There was a slight smell at first, but at least in my case, it was gone by the next day.

I’m giving it 4 stars mostly because the delivery window felt a little vague, and I wasn’t totally sure when it would show up. Other than that, I didn’t run into any real problems and setup was easier than I thought it might be.

I ended up getting the Avocado Green Mattress because I kept waking up sore, especially around my shoulder and hips. After a couple weeks on it, I can say it’s not doing nothing, my body feels way less jammed into the mattress. It’s definitely firm, but not in that stiff, uncomfortable way. More like it keeps you supported without feeling like a board. I mostly sleep on my side, and the pressure has been way better. I’m happy with it so far...

I reached out to Avocado Green Mattress support about my order, and they did help me out in the end. The replies were kinda slower than I expected, though, and I felt like I had to follow up more than once. The person I talked to was nice enough, so it wasn’t a bad experience, just not the smoothest.

I really wanted this mattress to work out because it feels comfortable when I first lie down. But my gut feeling after sleeping on it for a while is that it just holds more heat than I like. I don’t normally consider myself a hot sleeper, but I kept waking up feeling too warm. I even switched to lighter sheets, and it still didn’t make much of a difference. For the price, I expected it to do a better job staying cool. It’s not a bad mattress, it just doesn’t feel right for me.

I’ve been sleeping on this mattress for a bit and so far it feels really comfortable. I’m not an expert or anything, and I can’t say how it’ll hold up long term yet, but it does seem well made and definitely doesn’t feel cheap. The only reason I’m knocking off a star is the price, it still feels a little painful to spend that much.

I really wanted this mattress to work out, but the motion transfer has been a letdown. My partner shifts around a lot at night, and I can feel almost every little turn or adjustment, which keeps waking me up.

For the price, I expected it to be much better, especially for couples. When I reached out to support, it kind of felt like they were blaming us for being sensitive sleepers instead of taking the issue seriously. It might be okay if you sleep alone, but I wouldn’t recommend it if you share the bed.

Mattress showed up later than I expected. The updates were fine though.

The customer service team did get back to me, which I appreciated, but the response time was a little slower than I expected. Overall, it was okay, not bad, just not super quick tbh

I’ve had my Avocado mattress for a few weeks now, and the edge support has been a nice surprise. My old bed would sink a lot when I sat on the side, but this one feels way sturdier. I can sit there to put my shoes on without feeling like I’m sliding off. Something about it just feels more supportive all the way around.

I’ve been using it for about a week now, and my back pain has definitely eased up a bit. Nothing dramatic, but I do feel more comfortable day to day, so I’m happy with it so far.

The pickup was scheduled without any drama, and the refund came through just like they said it would. I’m usually cautious with bigger purchases, so I really appreciated that the return process felt clear and low-stress.

I went with Avocado mainly because of the organic materials and certifications, that part feels legit. I also really like that there’s literally no weird foam smell to worry about. My only gripe is that the website makes it kind of tough to compare all the different labels and options, and the prices are definitely on the high side. If organic is your top priority, it’s a good pick, but I wouldn’t call it amazing.

Looked fine at first, but started sagging fast. Not really what I was hoping for.
